Prepare the workspace first. Make it easier to use later.

Suped is a curated workspace distribution for agents: useful software, coherent defaults, and a simple way to choose alternatives. The product starts with preparing that workspace well.

First: tools and accounts ready

The immediate workflow is concrete: start a persistent Linux workspace, choose the tools you use, authenticate your accounts, and hand it to your agent. Repository hosts, deployment platforms, databases, cloud services, payments, and agent clients are choices in setup. First-party MCP connections bring in project trackers, design tools, and documentation services.

Suped 0.6.0 supplies the workspace, curated catalogue, guided provider selection, sign-in steps, and status checks. The work continues on making that path dependable: installation, authentication, persistence, clear errors, and a straightforward hand-off. Catalogue entries need a working setup path, not just a download link.

The agent uses ordinary CLIs and files. Suped prepares them so the user does not have to assemble the environment from scratch each time.

Later: guide more people through setup

Once this works well in the CLI, a human interface can guide someone who has never used these services through choosing tools, creating the accounts they need, and connecting them to the workspace.

That interface comes later. The current setup assumes you can use a terminal and have, or can create, your own service accounts.

The boundary

The setup experience is for the person preparing the workspace. The agent continues to see a Linux computer with the tools and account access that person chose. Start with the CLI.
